How our A2 Gir Cow Ghee is made

Our A2 Desi Gir Cow Ghee is 100% pure, preservative-free, chemical-free, and cruelty-free. Fresh A2 milk obtained from Desi Gir cows is boiled and set to curd, the curd is then slowlyhand-churned bi-directionally in a wooden churner called a Bilona. The A2 butter obtained through this process is then separated and slowly heatedto obtain A2 Desi Gir Cow Ghee. This is why our A2 cow ghee has a grainy texture, thicker consistency, a tempting aroma, and great flavour

  • Why A2 ghee is costly?

In the bilona method, the ghee making procedure is done with the manual whipping method and approx. 30 KG of curd is used to make just 1 KG of ghee plus manual labor. Which makes the price of ghee a bit more expensive than the other ghee available on the market.

  • What is A2 Gir cow ghee?

A2 cow ghee is traditionally made from the ‘bilona’ or ‘valona’ process. In this technique, the milk is first curdled and then hand-churned, or churned using motors. The makkhan (butter) obtained in the process is then heated till the desi A2 cow ghee is procured.

  • Why Gir cow ghee is yellow?

The yellow colour in desi cow ghee is because of the presence of beta-carotene which comes from the cow's diet.

  • Is A2 ghee worth buying?

No doubt, the milk of Desi cow is better and has more health benefits. Also, it is thicker in consistency and produces more ghee. The ghee obtained from A2 milk is superior in taste, is healthier and good for digestion.

  • How can you tell the original A2 ghee?

The easiest method to check the purity is by melting it in a pan. Put a pan on medium heat and let it heat for a while, now add a teaspoon of ghee to it. If the ghee melts immediately and turns dark brownish in colour, then it is pure ghee.

  • How nutritious is A GIR COW GHEE?

It is rich in omega-3 and omega-6, which are essential for the human body's functioning. Being rich in vitamins A, E, and K, and conjugated linoleic acid along with antioxidants makes it great for your body. It is rich in butyric acid improves digestion, and reduces the accumulation of toxins in the body.
